spread-revMark your calendars as the next scheduled Howard  Kanter Kiddush luncheon will take place on Saturday, March 21. The Howard Kanter Kiddush FUN(d) Committee has worked out an arrangement with Edibles by Ethel, which will help us continue to bring our members these monthly luncheons for the foreseeable future.  Your additional donations will help ensure this effort for years to come.  So come for the ruach of Shabbos morning services and stay for the fellowship of the luncheon.

Web Parasha Comes to Kol Ami!

July 30, 2013 in Holidays, Prayer, Shabbat

jholidays-simchat-torah-02Want to participate in services?  This innovative software will allow you to:

  • View aliyot before signing up to read them
  • Sign up for aliyot in advance
  • Print out PDFs of the portions

And soon you will be able to access trope and recordings online!

This program also eliminates the confusion  that  can occur in terms of double booking an aliyah or learning the wrong portion. Once you have selected an aliyah and signed up for it, that aliyah becomes blocked off to anyone else who might want to read it. So no one is ever double booked. Everything is organized by parasha and date so it’s easy to see what is read when and how long each portion is.

Join our list of service participants now by going to kolami.webparasha.com or emailing Cantor Beth now at  CantorBeth@kolami.org to receive your Log In and Password.
