As is true for all synagogues, Congregation Kol Ami relies on dues for income. These funds are used to provide services and programming, pay salaries, our mortgage, utilities, and other expenses. Income from dues provides the vast majority of our operating support and is extremely important for the financial health of our Congregation. Our Congregation has a dues structure based upon age and household type (single member or multiple member). There are special dues programs for those households under age 35 or age 70 or above. No individual is turned away because he/she cannot afford to pay standard dues.
High Holiday tickets are provided free of charge to all members of Congregation Kol Ami who are in good standing. Tickets may be available for purchase by members’ out-of-town relatives. We also have a ticket policy that addresses students, members of the U.S. armed forces stationed in Tampa, and other special groups. If you have questions about attending High Holy Day services, please contact the synagogue office.
You will find links to the membership application, annual dues structure, and benefits of membership in the Council of Chai below. Please call the office if you have questions about these documents.
