Rabbi Robert Judd, a.k.a. Rabbi Bob, received his rabbinic ordination and Master's Degree in Rabbinics from the Zeigler School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles in 2001. Before coming to Kol Ami in July 2009, Rabbi Bob served congregations in New York and South Carolina.
Rabbi Bob holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and a minor in German from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. He also holds a Master's Degree in English from the State University of New York - Binghamton. From 1991-97, Rabbi Bob pursued a Doctorate in English and American Literature at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. He has completed his coursework, his comprehensive exams and is hard at work on "his long paper".
Rabbi Bob is a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoys working out, reading, playing "the Blues" on his guitar, performing close-up magic, and cooking. When not at Kol Ami or pursuing one of his hobbies, he can be found walking his four dogs, J.D., Kaci, Beast, and Venter around Carrollwood Village.
