Rabbi Wallach's Presentations

I.     Friday Night, April 4: 6:00 pm

"Mindfulness Kabbalat Shabbat Service"

Get to know (or reconnect with) Rabbi Shira Wallach during Holy Happy Hour over drinks and snacks at 6:00 pm. Then, join her at 6:30 pm for a Mindfulness Kabbalat Shabbat Service that focuses on deep meaning and connection through singing, teaching, and introspection.

II.   Shabbat Morning, April 5: 9:30 am

“Who is Revelation For?”

The moments leading up to the giving of the Ten Commandments in Exodus show how a single misunderstanding can be so destructive to the ongoing chain of teaching and inheritance of our tradition. As modern readers, how do we become sensitive to these disconnects and how do we ensure that Torah remains accessible to all who seek it?

III.  Saturday Afternoon Following Kiddush Luncheon, April 5: 12:30 pm

“Ask the Rabbi”

Informal Question and Answer session with Rabbi Wallach.

IV.   Sunday Morning, April 6: 10:00 am

“From Prayer to Passover: A Morning of Music and Meaning”

10:00 am: Musical Tefillah followed at 11:00 am by a Passover Program. Both events are open to the entire community and are intended for children ages 4-13 along with their families.  Both programs will be held in the Sanctuary, with snacks provided in the Social Hall at 10:40 am.
