Dear Congregants,

I hope this message finds you well as we step into another meaningful month together as a community. As always, I am grateful for the warmth, dedication, and spirit that each of you brings to our synagogue. It is this sense of togetherness that makes our congregation so special.

This past month has been filled with inspiring moments. From our engaging, successful fundraiser to our Member Appreciation Shabbat, I am constantly reminded of the strength and beauty of our faith and community. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to our volunteers, staff, and rabbi who work tirelessly to ensure that our synagogue remains a place of learning, prayer, and connection.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting array of events and initiatives planned. I encourage you to participate in the upcoming Annual Congregational Meeting on February 24^th, where we will present the State of the Synagogue over the past year, vote on a slate of new board member candidates, and vote on the proposed budget for the next fiscal year. Also, on Saturday, February 15^th, please join the Brotherhood and Kol Ami as we honor Mitch Weiss as he receives the Mike Korenvaes Man of the Year Award for 2025. Our dear friend Nachum Peterseil will be in attendance with a special performance. These moments strengthen our bonds and allow us to build relationships and grow together in faith and community.

I also want to take a moment to remind the congregation about our Listening Campaign survey. The survey was developed to better understand the needs and aspirations of three important groups: our current members; those who resigned in the past five years; and individuals who have attended events at Kol Ami and have not yet joined.  The survey link will be sent to your email address. Whether it’s joining a committee, attending a congregation event, or simply reaching out to someone new, every act of engagement helps sustain the vibrant energy of our congregation. Your presence matters, and your contributions make a difference.
